THE LAYING OF THE PALMS

Join us this Sunday, April 14th for the “Laying of the Palms” at 150 Quebec Street in Denver, Colorado, at 1:00 p.m.  This is our SPECIAL PALM SUNDAY SERVICE and should be beautiful.  Also join us at 809 Washington Street, at 9:30 a.m. for this Special Service at Washington Street Community Center, for those of you who are morning people.

In June we will have three services, one at 9:30 am. at WSCC, one at 1:00 pm at Washington Park UMC, 1955 E Arizona Avenue and one at 3:00 pm. at Brookdale Senior Living Center.  So we are trying to accommodate you in your busy lives, let us have the chance to encourage you to live with Jesus on a continuous basis.

We look forward to your joining us at one of our services.

WE ARE ON THE MOVE

They say if people don’t come to your church, then you should go to them.  That is exactly what we are doing, we are “going to them”.  Even though we are still pivoted at 1955 East Arizona Avenue in Denver, we have expanded to 150 Quebec Street, a Nursing Home/Retirement Facility where we perform Worship Services at 1:00 p.m. on Sundays.   We facilitate Worship Service on the second floor of the Nursing Home in the Event Center.  All are welcome.

We also facilitate a “Spiritual Studies” Book Club on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. at the 150 Quebec Street address.

Even though we will continue at the Retirement Center/Nursing Home, starting the first of April, 2019, we will have Worship Services at 9:30 a.m. at 809 So Washington Street, Denver, CO 80209.  We will have services every Sunday at the 9:30 a.m. time.  With Easter, Resurrection Sunday, coming, the timing couldn’t be better.  This location is a Community Center offering all types of activities and we feel we can pull in new members and participation by just being there.  We are also going to assist them with their community garden and flowers.

For most of our Special Events, we will continue at 1955 East Arizona Avenue in Denver.

Please join us at a convenient time for you.  You are always welcome and bring your friends.

Blessings, Pastor Karen

WHAT’S NEXT?

This is the question as we enter 2019, what can be next?  What does our Lord have waiting for us at the beginning of a New Year as we say “goodbye” to 2018.  Join us for an uplifting experience as we venture into 2019.

See you Sunday at “HIGH NOON”, 12:00 p.m. at 1955 East Arizona Avenue, in Washington Park, Colorado.

We meet at 1955 East Arizona Avenue in the beautiful Washington Park area of Denver, Colorado. HIGH NOON is the time, 12:00 p.m. (Lunchtime) – forget lunch and come to our service, we will feed you.

Forgive your neighbor, forgive your loved ones and forgive yourself.

“SPIRITUAL SCENTS”

If you are like me, you feel the excitement, you focus in on the atmosphere in its beauty and delight, and you soul dive into the wonderful time of the year. From this point on, we will be experiencing the scents and love of the holidays, of Halloween, of Thanksgiving and, of course, Christmas in its glitter and show.

Gather with us on Sunday, October 28th for a time of fellowship, friendship and worship with our Savior, Jesus Christ. Gather with us at 12:00 p.m., High Noon, for a middle of the day celebration of his life. Gather with us at 1955 East Arizona Avenue and enjoy the meditation, the stillness, the quiet and the escape from the everyday life of the outside.

See you Sunday, and be prepared to enjoy the scents of the season.

Blessings, Pastor Karen

“Submitting to our Lord” and loving every minute of it.”

Last Sunday we talked about submitting to our Lord, and we mean FULL SUBMISSION. This means committing your soul, mind, and body to Jesus and to perform his services as he asks. This is a strong mission. This Sunday we will discuss the Love of our Lord by hearing it from three different people. Submitting to the Lord takes a full commitment….if you are ready to do this, come and see us.

We welcome all people, love all people, and worship will all people.

Blessings, Pastor Karen
